Publish Policy

After being accepted for publication, the article will be forwarded to the editor for revisions regarding style, presentation, and formatting. Authors will be asked to assist at this stage and may be informed of any significant changes made to the paper.

  1. Step 1 - Editing

Necessary changes or edits will be made to comply with the formatting, style, language, and presentation criteria of JoGMM.

  2. Step 2 – Article Presentation

Editors will adjust the formatting and layout of the article in the electronic version while checking for errors and plagiarism before saving it in the reference folder.

  3. Step 3 – Proofreading and Editing the Draft

The article will be printed for the editors and the managing editor to read and edit before layout formatting.

  4. Step 4 – Review of Proof 1

The layout technician designs and presents the article according to JoGMM’s formatting standards and then prints it. This print is referred to as Proof 1. Proof 1 will be carefully checked by the editors and the managing editor. Necessary information about the article, such as history, abstract, and keywords in English, must be placed correctly. After verification, Proof 1 will be sent back to the layout department.

  5. Step 5 – Review of Proof 2

The layout department will revise according to the guidelines and print Proof 2. The editor will compare Proof 2 with Proof 1 to identify any errors, if present. Proof 2 will be rechecked by the managing editor before being sent back to the layout department.

  6. Step 6 – Decision on the Contents of the New Issue

After all articles have been carefully reviewed and arranged, the managing editor and associates will print a draft of the table of contents and all articles in that issue, numbering the pages (Proof 3) before submitting it to the leadership and managing editor for approval. The final arrangement and editing will be conducted if necessary before proceeding to publication.

  7. Step 7 – Final Check

After receiving approval from the editorial leadership, Proof 3 will be sent to the layout department for PDF formatting and forwarded to the relevant department, along with the cover file designed by the managing editor. Simultaneously, the final version in .doc/docx format will also be sent to the administrative department for archiving.

  8. The time for the Editorial Board to complete steps 2-5 shall not exceed 2 working days for each step. The time for the layout department to execute steps 4-7 shall not exceed 1 working day for each step. The duration of Stage 4 (Preparation for Publication) ranges from 10 to 15 working days, starting from when the Editorial Board receives the notification of acceptance for the article.
